Your legs and lungs are burning, sweat is pouring out of you body and you think “Can I keep going?”  Yes you can! You have no idea what you are really capable of until you push yourself to new levels.  Battling through fatigue and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is crucial to any great workout.  This can be a tough task, but like the Detroit Pistons slogan from their championship season stated, “If it ain’t tough, it ain’t right!”

Every time you push through the challenge of fatigue, you make it harder to give in the next time.  Conversely, every time you give in, you make it easier to give in the next time.

A great way to get through these tough times is to live in the moment.  Don’t worry about the next drill or how much time you have left in your workout.  Focus on going as hard as you can, executing each individual set or rep, one at a time.  If you are doing 10 sets of 30 second commando’s, it doesn’t do any good to focus on the 8 sets you have left when you are on your second set.  Challenge yourself to go as hard as you can for 30 seconds at a time.  Think about it this way, can you work as hard as you can for 30 seconds?  I know you can.  Live in the moment and get better one set at a time!
