It’s not surprising to me at all, but it is to a lot of people.
The best players that we work with. The ones that have the highest skill level and play at the highest level — High Major NCAA DI basketball or the NBA — ask the most questions. They crave learning. And, aren’t afraid to feel dumb or think they are asking a stupid question. And, they are ALWAYS asking questions.
See, they have a different mindset.
Failure is not bad — It’s learning. And, they truly understand that learning never stops. Improving never stops.

“I’ve really been looking at the mental aspect of the game…I’m learning, every single day. I know that I work hard. It’s going to take me some time, but I know that I’ll get there.”
— Kevin Durant
We don’t work with Kevin Durant, but this is the same attitude and approach that players like Wesley Matthews have. Even after surgery, on crutches, Wes is working on his game.
“There’s always another level you can go to. In basketball, you always can be better at something, I think,”
— Kevin Durant
The thing is that it doesn’t matter what level you are at. A 6th grader can adopt this mindset.
That’s all it is — a mindset.
Take your game, and mind to the next level at our basketball skill development camps in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Dells and Eau Claire.
