I’ve always been interested in health and performance. I even worked at GNC in high school. But, my journey to meditation, yoga and overall wellness has led me to really dive into holistic healing. I know you want to stop reading right now, but keep going. It’s worth it. I promise.
Last year I was ridiculously sick. Couldn’t eat, massive headache, and could not get out of bed — you’ve all been there. That stuff is not fun. All the NyQuil and everything else I tried didn’t seem to make a difference. So I stumbled across a recipe similar to the one below, somehow made it to the store and blended this stuff up. It tasted awful, but I could literally feel the plants working with my body to push out the cold. Not just making me ridiculously tired and covering up symptoms.
Combine all of the following in a blender and drink it up.
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoon Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 inches ginger peeled
- 2 inches turmeric peeled
- Juice from 2 lemons
- dash of cayenne
- 2 cloves pressed garlic
- 1 tablespoon of raw honey
- About 20 drops of oregano oil
