The off-season is here and it’s time to switch back into teaching mode. What do I mean? Teaching is done in practice and off-season workouts. Coaching is done during games. And, we desperately need more teachers in this game. One’s who can quickly break down any skills to make it easier for players to learn.
Here is the 6 step progression we use to develop every new skill that you can use to teach ANY skill you want.
1) Explain
2) Demonstrate
3) Drill
4) Correct
5) Drill Again
6) Compete
At our Coaches Academy in Milwaukee we’ll be going into more detail on how to break down these skills into simple, easy to learn steps. Here’s what Carrington Love, former All-Horizon League Player at Green Bay and current overseas professional has to say about our teaching progression:
“I’ve been working with Thrive3 since my sophomore year in high school and would not be where I’m at without their training. As my game progressed, so did the training. From working on my shot in high school, to making detailed ball screen reads at the pro level, they’ve been there always helping me get to the next level. I highly recommend working with them.” — Carrington Love
PS. Rememeber we’ll be giving away over $500 in Coaching Resources with registration.
